NINE LIVES MAN

Adapted from a classic Taiwanese science fiction comic.

Struggling detective Meng Jiugo hesitated to propose to his girlfriend Meili, as he was broke. Meili was pursued by the wealthy banker Zack. One day, he was killed by a mysterious assassin and was sucked into an experiment where he was forced to reincarnate nine times. Jiugo turned into a dog, a computer robot, a tree, and more, each time desperately trying to prevent Meili from being taken away, but he failed repeatedly. Unable to bear the experiment anymore, Jiugo finally gathered courage to rebel against the gods. After a fierce battle, he escaped the lab only to realize he had ended up in hell!
