ON OUR WAY

Keelung, a port city where the seas and mountains meet, was once Taiwan’s window to the world. However, as the years went by, the city’s prosperity gradually faded away, leaving behind those most vulnerable to struggle with life on their own – the homeless, the mentally challenged, children who have been uncared for, and the undocumented elderly from China. Their wails from the back alleys on endless dark nights pierced through the heart of HUANG Xiu-yan, who began to work with other like-minded friends to visit these weaker members of society and lend them a helping hand. HUANG and her friends are the light shining on dark corners to these people in need, bringing love and hope into their lives.

無家的街友、思覺失調的年輕人、長年遭忽略的孩子，甚至是偷渡回台、沒有身份的七旬老人，來自幽黯陋巷的呼喊哀嚎，聲聲往心裡扎，於是城市裡以黃秀燕為主的一群人開始四處搜尋訪視，積極幫忙無助的弱勢者⋯⋯。這群搜尋者是燈，在百轉千迴的人生巷弄中，照亮他人的生命歷程。
