WEI Zhi-yun, a talented tea artisan in the 19th century, was dubbed the “tea fairy.” To make tea, she accepted the invitation of two businessmen John DODD and LI Chun-sheng to come to Taiwan with her childhood sweetheart, GAO Qing-hua. Queen Victoria was astonished by the flavor of WEI Zhi-yun’s tea and named it “Oriental Beauty.” However, she fell in love with GAO Qing-hua, who changed his heart, and died giving birth. In the 21st century, YUAN You-yuan, a pastry chef, struggled not only with the challenges in her career but also with her love life. Just as she was about to give up, she accidentally created the famous Taiwanese dessert “Twins Buns,” with an appearance resembling the infinity symbol (∞). She realized that instead of constantly pursuing something “new,” she should focus on making something “genuine.”
