A con artist who makes a living on lies infiltrates a pet funeral home to reclaim his family property. But amid one chaotic farewell after another, a dog who trusts him unconditionally forces him to learn the one thing he’s never known—how to be sincere.

After getting busted, con artist En-Hsun ends up penniless. Desperate to get back on his feet, he schemes his way into a pet funeral home, pretending to go straight while secretly plotting his next payday. But there’s one problem: from the eccentric staff to the equally bizarre clients, no one here is quite normal. Worse still, he finds himself stuck with a goofy dog that believes every lie he tells. As one hilariously chaotic funeral follows another, En-Hsun’s carefully calculated act begins to fall apart—and, against his better judgment, he starts to genuinely care about this oddball crew and the animals they bid farewell to. His get-rich plan goes off the rails, and soon, so does his life.
