PROWLING ALONG THE ZENGWEN RIVER

Through the lens of 20 photographers, this series talking about the connections between the environment, the ecosystems and the people and hoping to make the viewers rethink about the role a river plays in their lives and in our culture.

Rivers play a major role in human history. In 2022, photographer SHEN Chao-liang targeted the Zengwen River and started the “Sneaking Photography Project”, invited 20 photographers to document the many and varied geographies of Taiwan. The production team of Mirror TV follow those photographers on this project. They went along the bank of Zengwen River from the upstream to the downstream and looking from above and even down under the water to make 5 episodes of Prowling Along the Zengwen River.
