Quarantini

From monologues to dramatic fights, [Quarantini] portrays Taiwan’s pandemic lockdown both in fiction and in reality.

Presented by Kaohsiung Film Archive and PTS Taiwan, Quarantini nvited three young and talented directors — Po-shun LU, Shiang-an CHUANG and Ya-yu LIN — to paint their observations of the enormous changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. When Henge Meets Crescent depicts conflicts following the easing of pandemic restrictions; Be My Quarantine is an absurd comedy about a family in 14-day quarantine; and Lockdown Diary explores the lives of the cast and crew of a film when their shooting schedule is postponed. From monologues to dramatic fights, Quarantini portrays images of Taiwan’s pandemic lockdown both in fiction and in reality.
