In order to visit his critically ill father, Wei brought his ten-year-old daughter back to his hometown in Malaysia from Taiwan. It is the first time for his daughter to visit Malaysia. The trip reminded him of his ex-wife when they came for their wedding years ago, prompting reflections on the changes in his life. Facing death again brought back memories of his close friend Hao’s suicide ten years ago.
Upon meeting Jasmin, Hao’s sister, after feeling despair towards life, the two embarked on a journey with Hao’s old car, attempting to find passion for the future on the road leading to the past.
