ROMANCE IN HELL

When ghosts crash a dating reality show, a desperate producer must fake a romance with a handsome Taoist exorcist to keep filming, survive the night, and discover that their on-screen chemistry may be the only thing that’s real.

Xiao Nie, a TV producer known for supernatural shows, is given one last chance to save her career: create a hit dating reality show or lose her job. With a shoestring budget and contestants dropping out at the last minute, her desperate prayers seem answered when the handsome yet aloof Chen Shidao joins the cast just in time.
Upon arriving at a secluded romantic villa, however, the production is thrown into chaos as ghosts appear and contestants disappear. When Chen saves Xiao Nie with his peachwood sword, he reveals himself to be a Taoist exorcist sent to defeat the evil spirits. Sensing a ratings goldmine, the crew persuades Xiao Nie to step in as a contestant and fake a romance with Chen on camera. As they battle ghosts to survive while keeping the cameras rolling, their staged romance unexpectedly becomes all too real.
