Inspired by The Metamorphosis, Sensing Mirror is a multiplayer VR experience that combines the form for light and shadow theater. In the experience, a girl finds herself deformed when looking into the mirror. The viewers will find their bodies in the shape of a polyhedron and discover the hidden messages by reflecting the sources of light with their bodies. The collaboration among the viewers is the key for the girl to turn back into her normal self and confront her desires and fears.

LIN Pei-Ying
Born in 1991, LIN Pei-Ying is a creator of films and visual designer based in Taipei. She has profound experiences in collaboration with performing artists and creating works of a wide range of varieties. LIN is inspired by dance, a hobby of hers, to create special narratives. She combines film and motion of dancers as the subject matter to express the conditions of females in society today.
