Adapted from seven short stories by crime horror novelist Ji Qing, the series incorporates real crime records in Taiwan and uses a department store as the stage to explore “desire” and “class” to create a horror version of Crash.

On Christmas Eve in 2030, a massive explosion at Dongfang Department Store claims hundreds of lives, but no clear suspect emerges. As the news breaks, the lives of several key figures are revealed in parallel during the seven days leading up to the explosion: an idol’s double and her manager, a bedridden young man and his heartbroken mother, a department store executive and her assistant, a reckless salesman and a married man, a security guard and a missing girl, an illegitimate child and a corpse, and a traumatized high school teacher and her overprotective husband. How are these people connected? The bomb is ticking down, and the truth is about to be revealed.
