Shipwrecks Taiwan is a documentary that highlights Taiwan’s rich marine ecology by focusing on the underwater conditions of sunken ships around Taiwan. Shipwrecks Taiwan features over 15 sunken ships located across Taiwan. The average depth of these shipwrecks is between 35 to 52 meters, and some have hardly been visited due to the depth and poor visibility throughout the year. Our team also discovered an unidentified ancient sunken ship that is relatively large, with a rich ecology of high-value fish species that have been depleted on other shipwrecks. Shipwrecks Taiwan is filmed in the highest current image recording specifications – 8K/120fps/RAW, aiming to fully document the current appearance of these shipwrecks in the highest image quality before they are eroded and destroyed by the sea. Producer Tim LEE will guide the audience to explore the shipwrecks underwater.
