Authors WANG Hao-yi and LIU Ke-hsiang take viewers on an in-depth tour of the culture, history, and customs of different places in Taiwan. Focusing on both Taiwan’s culture and the environment, Slow Travel Adventures invite everyone to sample the warmth and hospitality of Taiwan’s city neighborhoods and rural countryside. It also reminds us, in its calm and understated way, of the value of repeated visits and long-term observation, which will reveal new sights to us. When LIU Ke-hsiang is strolling among old lanes and alleys, we see many spectacular old buildings and shops radiating the enchantment of everyday aesthetics.
