In the 1970s, the singer CHEN Da-ye discovered Taiwan’s renowned singer LIN Wen-xiong. He rapidly gained fame after entering the music industry. Upon returning from military service, he noticed the dominance of Mandarin songs over Taiwanese songs and organized concerts on his own to revive the Taiwanese music scene. Despite getting entangled in criminal conflicts during his peak, he exited after being sentenced. Yet, driven by the need to support his seriously ill mother, he returned to perform on stage, becoming wanted by the authorities. Through his songs, he expressed the hardships of life, finding solace in the cheers of his fans and restoring his faith in life.
