STILLS MOVING

Stills Moving is a short film that combines live-action and stop-motion animation selected for the Sitges Film Festival 2024.
《停格人生 》是一部結合實拍與停格動畫的短片電影，入選西班牙錫切斯影展。

A sculptor was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), a disease that will eventually lost control of her own body. Facing the impending affliction, the artist put all her heart and soul into her next work, a figurine of a little girl. As the days passed, the sculptor’s limbs began to falter and weaken, but her work, the figurine, started moving and opening her eyes… Stills Moving is a short film project assisted and consulted by the Taiwan Motor Neuron Disease Association and the Taiwan Stroke (Neurological) Association.
一位女雕塑家被診斷罹患「漸凍症」，她將逐漸失去控制身體的能力。面對即將到來的病痛，雕塑家將全部的精力放入她的下個創作中──一件還未完成的人像雕塑。 一天天過去，女藝術家逐漸失去控制四肢的能力，而她的人像雕塑，卻睜開雙眼，開始動了起來⋯⋯。
