Stryker: Pioneer Mission

To create a completely different visual style to typical stop-motion animation, we used Hollywood action film photography techniques, greatly enhancing the intensity of the fighting and the sense of smoothness. Instead of using regular 2D special effects, we used cotton to actually shoot the stop-motion explosion effects, with the rough texture of cotton creating a more special visual experience.

To explore sources of energy in space, the Stryker team is sent on a pioneering mission to an unknown alien planet where an unstoppable battle-ax mech awaits them!
