SUNLIGHT

In 2041, a meteor collision reshapes Earth, sealing the sky with impenetrable clouds and blanketing continents in perpetual snowfall. All surface plant-life withers, and “Sunlight” becomes a long-lost legend, worshipped by those who never witnessed it. The sunless era brings the arrival of two mysterious life forms: monstrous “Hunters” and enigmatic “Snow Spirits”. The Snow Spirits aid humans, particularly the Shade Riders, who traverse the frozen landscape on soulboards and wield arcane blades. They safeguard Vaiytomo, the last underground city illuminated by glowworms. One day, the young Shade Rider Lukai, discovers a map revealing an artifact that could hold “the last ray of Sunlight” from the forgotten era. But it is Aistar, a prisoner of Vaiytomo, who brings back that relic and stops the war that breaks out between two surviving human clans, only to find out that there’s a larger danger looming beneath the snow.
