Co-written by CHANG Pei-cheng and TSAI Ming-liang, the film was awarded Best Screenplay at Asia Pacific Film Festival 1984. YANG Hui-shan won Best Actress at Golden Horse Awards 1984.

Three siblings idle their time while their parents are away. The youngest son, Hsiao-hung, finds a young fugitive taking refuge in their empty home and hides him. Later, his mother finds the murderer sleeping in a cupboard – and a night of horror takes hold.
