A mystical black box turns a homeless man’s daydream into reality and an irreversible nightmare.

Hank, plagued by a recurring nightmare of harming his family, lives a nomadic life with no attachments. A chance encounter at a ruin grants him a black box, exchanging his future. Trapped in a time loop, Hank uses the box to hoard stolen goods across repeated days. Meanwhile, his son, Zhi, seeks him. Unable to reunite due to the loop, Hank’s despair leads to suicide, which doesn’t end the cycle. Years later, Hank’s remains are discovered, head shrouded by the black box – now his skull.
