Would you still be willing to try if you have a dream that no one thinks you can achieve? This documentary records Taiwanese Extra Actors of different gender, generation and background. For them, the support from their family is the biggest strength and may also be a hindrance. Before touching on the goal and clarifying their own predicament, they are still running around in the industry, struggling with the balance of reality and ideals.Through their journeys, we see their struggle and challenges under cultural differences, the strength of people and the difficulty for women in the industry, but they keep moving forward. Director WU Hsin-yu spent six years recording the journey of these extra actors with a humorous and relaxing rhythm.

本片記錄三位不同背景的台灣臨時演員，他們朝向專業演員的方向努力，除了面對業界選角刻版印象的挑戰，也要平衡家庭與工作上的經濟難題，掙扎著現實與理想的平衡。本片歷經六年攝製，記錄了華語市場近年來影視產業的消長。導演以平行的視角、幽默的節奏，記錄這些本著小人物精神向前的逐夢者。
