Aspiring actor Fang Da-Che and assistant director Zhang Qin unexpectedly become guiding lights in each other’s uncertain lives, forging a rare and precious friendship; advertising director Fang Da-Wu grapples intensely with the pressures from both his career and his marriage to Ding Xuan-Ya; and homebody PhD student Luo Yi-Jian is caught in a complex emotional entanglement with Wang Mei-Ling, a woman he met online who used a fake photo.
