The Taiwanese-dialact version with poor image that circulate in the market is not a complete film. The restored version in Mandarin from TFAI presents the comeplete synopsis and the best image quality to audiences.

經典的「火車離別」愛情故事，引發後續台語片片商爭相拍攝相似題材的作品。流通於坊間的台語版是長度缺漏將近四分之一的版本，且畫質不佳，跳接狀況頻繁，不利於觀影；本次修復的版本雖是國語版，但完整鋪敘故事的來龍去脈，也讓人物與畫面有最佳的呈現。
