Shuching and Yunjin are best friends.
Yujin comes from a poor family. After meeting Shuching, she witnessed the privileges that come with wealth and became determined to rise – no matter the cost. To her, Shuching represented everything she aspired to be.
But Shuching, born into a wealthy family, gave it all up for love. She left her hometown and moved to a unfamiliar city, where she started from scratch by opening a small laundry shop.
As the years passed, Yunjing’s ruthless ambition left her increasingly dissatisfied and unhinged. Meanwhile, shuching, who had chosen a simpler life, ran the Ailin Laundry Shop with her husband. Despite many challenges, the two supported each other and stayed true to their path.
