THE LITTLE BLACK BOX

NTSEC is committed to promoting Taiwan’s technology, academic research and contemporary creativity. It has created the first immersive theater named “The Little Black Box”, which combines a 64.6-channel surround sound system and 10K resolution imagery in Taiwan. The theater features a large L-shaped immersive projection space with 9 walls and 9 floor projectors, providing a single-sided projection size of approximately 13m width and height. The audio is delivered through the Ambisonic system, building a truly immersive experience that merges sounds and visuals.
NTSEC collaborates with projection professionals and sound technology. It aims to offer this platform to national and international artists, scientists, creators in the arts, sciences, and technology fields. Optimistically through the establishment of this space, creators and artists will be able to conduct research and experimentation; leading to opportunities on showcasing their work on international stages.
