No dancing, no living. Summer falls in love with ballroom dance and tries to attain perfection. She is completely dedicated to mastering the pas de deux by herself. Disillusioned with the superficiality of urban life and relationships, she channels all her passion into ballroom dancing, hoping to dispel her loneliness and radiate on the dance floor. Even as she finds some release for her pent-up lust, she wonders if the perfect dance partner she yearns forever exists. A late bloomer in dance, Summer finds herself pushing her limits under the tutelage of her coach, Tony. She dreams to compete at the prestigious Blackpool Dance Festival someday. Tony is her interim partner, but she knows deep down that she isn’t good enough to keep him around, nor can she over-rely on this partner in crime. They care for each other, but they also have their reservations.

Norris WONG is screenwriter whose works include feature film Let it Ghost (2022), TV series The Gutter (2020) and Margaret & David – Green Bean (2016). She won Best New Director at the 39th Hong Kong Film Awards for her directorial debut My Prince Edward (2019).
