Amid the turmoil of a century-old tofu shop, a mother as soft yet strong as tofu holds the family together. The story begins at Wan Tofu Shop, a century-old business passed down through five generations. Each pre-dawn light marks not just the start of tofu making, but the family’s shared love, struggles, and resilience. On patriarch WAN De-fu’s 60th birthday, the family expects the eldest son Zhi-ming to inherit the shop. Instead, the announcement of idle younger son Ren-jie as successor ignites old rivalries and family rifts.
