Renowned Taiwanese poet Ze Yang debuts with this whimsical film that blurs the boundary between documentary and fiction, focusing on the poet’s reflections on his life, his literary works and the history of Taiwan. By combining his poems with the music performances of musicians from different generations including aboriginal singers and a moon lute artist, Yang poetically explores the connection between poetry and music, and creates a beautiful visual poem for the island he lives in, Taiwan.
