Guilin has been hiding as a fugitive for four years since he shockingly seeks revenge at the funeral of a gang leader. Now that he’s been told he’s got only six months to live with cancer, he plans to turn himself in before bidding farewell to this life, until he finds himself only the third most-wanted criminal on the police station bulletin board. He decides to find out and get rid of the top two competitors ​then​ crowns himself the most-wanted criminal.

通緝犯陳桂林在角頭大哥告別式上囂張尋仇，從此藏匿萬華四年，直到他被告知罹癌只剩半年性命，決定在面對生命盡頭之前出面自首，卻在警局牆上的公告欄，發現自己竟然只是排名第三的通緝犯。他查出前二名通緝犯的下落，一一去除這兩位頭號勁敵後，以為自己已成為當代的「周處除三害」，卻沒想到永遠參不透的貪嗔癡，才是人生終要面對的罪與罰。
