THE RED SHOES

In this reinterpretation of Hans Christian ANDERSEN’s fairy tale, The Red Shoes, the girl who lost her legs because of the cursed red shoes becomes a magical shoemaker, suffering from severe post-traumatic stress disorder linked to the curse. To save Cinderella, she breaks the seal on the cursed red shoes, helping Cinderella escape the prince’s obsessive pursuit and control. In doing so, she finally heals her own fear.
