The Rootless

The story is about foreign migrant workers who live in Taiwan. The Vietnamese man LEI Wen-cheng came to Taiwan and became a Taiwanese fisherman. The cramped cabin was packed with two other fishermen, Ahai and Chang-wen, also came from Vietnam. Wen-cheng and Ahai became good friends when they are excluded and bullied by others.
