The host of The Second Half Trainee, Chu-ting (Ah-Ting), faces the responsibilities of caring for both teenage children and elderly parents in her real life. Approaching the future second half of her life with some fear, confusion, and nervousness, Chuting decides to immerse herself actively in the lives of the elderly. She uses her phone to record various aspects of elderly life. In this episode, she visits Yizhu Township in Chiayi County, the oldest rural town in Taiwan, to experience and practice a second half of life characterized by perseverance, diligence, kindness, and dedication.
