THE TIME TRAVELER’S LENS

Fang Muyun, a talented young university student and award-winning photographer, finds her life dramatically altered when her father acquires a genuine Song Dynasty painting. To her astonishment, the painting serves as a time portal between the modern era and the Song Dynasty. Li Jing, a court painter from the past, accidentally travels through the painting into their home. Driven by curiosity, Fang follows Li back to the Song Dynasty, only to find herself unable to return.
On the other hand, Chancellor Cao Xie aims to solidify his political power by nominating his daughter, Cao Yudan, into the selection for the Crown Princess. He pressures Zhang Zheng, the head of the painting academy, to create a portrait of his daughter, threatening his life if he fails. Li steps in to support his mentor, with Fang using her photography skills to assist. However, the advanced nature of her photography techniques draws the Crown Prince′s attention, and she inadvertently captures evidence of Cao Xie′s treachery, putting Fang′s life in danger.
The Crown Prince orders Fang imprisoned in the dungeon, while Cao hires assassins to eliminate her. Fortunately, Li rescues her just in time and uses the painting to send Fang back to the present. Six years later, Fang becomes a renowned photographer but can′t forget Li. At an exhibition in the Museum, she meets him again, and finally follows Li back to the Song Dynasty, begin a happy life together.
