In an era of severe water scarcity, TV programs promote water-saving methods and endorse watermelon juice as an alternative. Yet, everyone devises their own strategies for water procurement. Shiang-chyi fills empty bottles with water clandestinely sourced from public toilets, while Hsiao-kang, now a porn actor, bathes on the rooftop at night using meager water from storage tanks. Survival proves tough, but the weight of loneliness is even more burdensome. Like clouds in a silent sky, each of us floats alone, untouched.
One day, Shiang-chyi discovers a watermelon and unexpectedly reunites with Hsiao-kang in the park, recalling a previous watch purchase.
