Orphan XU Chun-mao hides his identity and sneaks into Taiwan’s underworld to investigate the cause of his father’s death. However, he falls in love with the gangster A-ang and eventually lets go of hate for devotion.

XU Chun-mao’s comrade is an academic within the underworld who conceals his background from her. She carries blood debts due to her parents’ connections. He returns to the path through a “graduate research” plan for LEE Seung-hyun’s revenge work. XU Tian, an older sister who works in the underworld, introduces Brother Nan, a key figure in the underworld, to arrange for him to live with a juvenile boy.
