In the 1970s, American military officer Luke and Taiwanese girl Pearl fell in love and had a son, Kevin, but international circumstances forced them apart. Raised by a nanny, Kevin faced discrimination and self-doubt due to his mixed-race appearance, finding solace only in music. After the nanny’s passing, Pearl provided Kevin with Luke’s U.S. address, sharing their love story with him. Meanwhile, Kevin, feeling like just a nobody, lacked the courage to meet his father.
