A man who experienced business failure came to the fishing port to start a new life. Unexpectedly, his concern for Indonesian fishermen sparked a dialogue between the two fishing ports.

Mr. Cat used to own a cultural restaurant, but his business faced failure a few years ago. He came to Aodi to begin anew and unexpectedly found redemption in this coastal fishing village that houses a significant population of migrant fishermen. Through his experiences in the fishing village and his daily interactions with Indonesian fishermen who provide essential services, we not only gain insights into the village’s everyday life but also witness unexpected dialogues emerging about fishing ports, the fishing industry, and marine conservation in both places, thanks to his relationships with migrant workers.
