Opened in 2018, VR FILM LAB is located in Kaohsiung, the 2nd biggest city of Taiwan. The theater consists of a VR360 cinema and 2 interactive zones. Operated by Kaohsiung Film Archive, the theater plays an important role in promoting cinematic VR. Each year, the theater curates 4 seasons of thematic programs. The VR FILM LAB also collaborates with local cultural industry, influencers, and interdisciplinary experts to reach and build audiences, and create a resilient XR ecosystem in Taiwan.
