WELCOME TO DOLLY’S HOUSE

First uncanny and trendy Taiwanese animation, combining elements of invocation, friendship, and dolls, with brain-twisting and fast-paced storytelling, as well as profound character-building, bringing to the audience a brand new oriental fantasy feature film.

The story is inspired by Taiping Guanji, one of the most influential literary anthologies written over a thousand years ago. The film follows a rising YouTuber, Princess Maria, whose quest for fame and love spirals into a surreal nightmare after a scandalous proposal stunt leads her to a reclusive doll maker, a haunting mansion, and the buried secrets of her own identity. This is the first animated feature film in Taiwan to combine rotoscoping and 2D animation, and it is filled with eerie and beautiful aesthetics.
