Each episode invites popular comedians to perform tailored skits utilizing elements from both Eastern and Western comedy: Traditional Chinese crosstalk featuring banter, mimicry, jokes, and singing; Japanese manzai, rakugo, and short plays; and European and American-style talk shows. The comedy takes a cross-genre approach, blending folk songs, proverbs, cuisine, and spiritual beliefs that represent Hakka culture, and transforming them into punchlines, gags, and puns. Meanwhile, the host fearlessly satirizes traditional proverb stereotypes to infuse lively beats and interactions, paving the way for audiences to discover the charm and beauty behind Hakka language and culture through fun and laughter.
