Plutus Guide is a stock trading app that allows users to buy stocks or ‘copy trade’ from skilled investors for a small commission, potentially replicating their profits. An investor known as Third Property has never experienced losses and maintains an average annual profit of 20%, attracting 10,000 users who collectively invest over a billion yuan.
Guan-Nian Hou invested his university earnings into Third Property′s account. Before the release of a new drug by Formosa Biotech, Third Property invested heavily in Foco Biotech stocks, causing a price surge. However, the drug′s disappointing results led to a stock crash, resulting in significant losses for Hou and other followers.
