YU Qiu-dong lost his mother in a fatal car accident when he was young but gained the ability to see spirits and assist them on their journeys, which he calls ‘the ghost bus.’ He helps these spirits in the hope of finding his mother’s soul. Just when he contemplates giving up the search, he encounters a new class transfer student, Jing-Jing, who can also see spirits, and Uncle Fong, a ghost with no memories.

This unlikely trio embarks on a quest to help spirits fulfill their dying wishes while continuing their search for Qiu-dong’s mother. Qiu-dong also shockingly discovers that their fates were interconnected in the most unexpected way the moment his mother died.
