In a weekly Saturday class, ZHENG Li-hua, a prominent cram school teacher, mentors a group of underprivileged kids. Among them are Yu-wen, who takes care of her mentally disordered mother; Sheng-an, a victim of physical abuse; the rebellious Ping; ADHD-diagnosed Zhi-wei; and Yong-kang, who faces bullying at school. These kids continually test ZHENG’s resolve, pushing her to the brink of giving up. Yet, amid the struggles, she rediscovers the purpose behind her passion for teaching.
Volunteer YANG Qing-gui spends time with the kids and has led them to believe in a future filled with dreams. However, can everything truly unfold as smoothly as it seems?
