WHITE KITE MAN

Ni-Chih the human moved to a floating island called “The Hanging Isles” out of longing for reuniting with her husband Yu, who was a White Kite Man. They had a son together. Although believing that their family could live happily ever after, Ni-Chih discovered that the nation was slowly transforming these White Kite Men into murderous monsters. As a result, they decided to divorce, and Ni-Chih returned to the mainland with their son. It was only many years later when she was notified with her husband’s death that she finally uncovered the truth behind the reason for their abandonment – the government had manipulated Yu’s memories, causing him to lose all emotional connection with Ni-Chih, to transform him into a perfect killing machine.
