The movie is adapted from a true story and stars veteran actors Ying Tsai-ling and Golden Bell Award-winning actress Chu Chih-ying. Due to a sudden stroke accident, the mother falls into the abyss of half-paralysis in life. Fortunately, with the encouragement of her husband and daughter-in-law, the mother not only strives for rehabilitation but also confronts various issues with the father-son relationship and the daughter-in-law. She is determined to bid farewell to the darkness and rebuild the family with her daughter-in-law by her side.
