Your Island My Home is the first music documentary stripe programming filmed internationally during the epidemic. It explores life, culture, island wisdom, and self-growth from the music exchanges between the indigenous musicians of Taiwan and New Zealand. The director/producer of this program is Ado’ Kaliting PACIDAL, who deeply researches cross-Austronesian culture and has been awarded the Golden Bell Award for the program Songs Blowing Over the Island. This program invited Golden Horse Award winner Su-ming and the popular diva A-Lin to collaborate with internationally renowned Maori musicians Tory Kingi, Maisey Rika, and Ria Hall. Through new filming techniques, connecting the cultures of the two islands, and co-creating songs transnationally, this documentary shares the wisdom of life displayed by the indigenous people of the Austronesians in the epidemic.
