Chef HUANG De-hsing, born before World War II, began working as an apprentice at the finest club at the age of 12, and then worked at several renowned restaurants. In his elder years, he even served as a traditional recipes consultant in the Mountain and Sea House, which earned the Michelin star in 2019. Over his 70-year career, he has tasted the bitter and sweetness of a kitchen staff as well as witnessed the ups and downs of the modernization of the island.
